This is an honest and non-profit initiative of insuranzone to make the Indian Insurance

portfolios to insurers only for the purpose of prudent underwriting and an effective
tool for all underwriters. Public will not have access to this site nor insuranzone
would use these data for any purpose and this open declaration would serve as an
NDA with all insurers
To begin with Motor claims and Mediclaims-more particularly groups, would be taken
up. Insurers can voluntarily upload basic minimum information about Motor claims
in order to confirm claims details of a particular vehicle and also about owners
of the vehicle for the purpose allowing NCB and this can serve as "eNCB" clearance.
In group Mediclaims also basic information would be provided by insurers in order
to understand the claims performance of the group
This helps insurers to verify and to avoid the misuse of shifting insurance from
one insurer to the other insurer by unscrupulous customers. For this purpose all
offices of insurers would register themselves in the site to get their user ID and
password. This would enable insurers to provide information and collect information
for the use of effective underwriting.
